Although EAST no longer has a permanent centre in King's Lynn, the town still feels like home. Founded in Lynn, we have stronger links into the local community and service-provider networks in West Norfolk than anywhere else in the county. And of course we continue to offer support groups and run events in the town when required.
A majority of our trustees are Lynn-based and, since the town is situated roughly mid-way between Norwich and Peterborough, our staff and Management Committee meetings are usually held there.
Queen Elizabeth Hospital, on the outskirts of Lynn, is the medical service provider for most of our Lynn clients and our workers offer their services in close collaboration with the hospital where they are happy to meet service-users for advice and support sessions when requested.
