EAST is a charity set up in King's Lynn in 1991 to combat the effects of HIV/AIDS. We are committed to strengthening the community through the provision of a high quality service to those infected and affected by HIV and AIDS, to fighting stigma and to increasing public understanding of the condition.
We support people affected by HIV in any way they require. They may be living with the virus themselves or have a family member, partner or friend who is HIV+. Or they may be worried members of the public who require accurate information and a chance to put their concerns into words.
HIV remains a stigmatised condition whose implications are still widely misunderstood and our task is to fight it at every level: physical, emotional and social.
